AllerGuarder designs products and tools that provide alerts about food and other allergies or intolerances and other sensitivities and helps them avoid possible exposure to food allergens and other triggers. This Privacy Policy applies to the AllerGuarder Service (“Service”), which includes our products (“Devices”), tools, software and any communications related to these such as emails, text messages, ‘push” notifications, etc. our websites located at www.AllerGuarder.com, (individually a “Site” and collectively “Sites”), the AllerGuarder software (“Software”) and AllerGuarder mobile applications (the “Apps”). The Devices, Service, Sites, Software and Apps are collectively referred to in this Policy as the “AllerGuarder Service,” and by proceeding to use the AllerGuarder Service you consent that we may process the data that we collect from you in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the AllerGuarder Service:
ACTIVATE A DEVICE
When activating an AllerGuarder Device, you will be asked to download the AllerGuarder App or install Software and enter information.
CREATE AN ALLERGUARDER ACCOUNT
You must create an AllerGuarder account. When you create an AllerGuarder account, we ask for some personal information, including but not limited to your email address. Your email address will be your AllerGuarder account user name, which you will use to log-into your account.
VISIT OUR SITES
AllerGuarder collects industry standard data from everyone who visits our Sites—even if you don’t have an AllerGuarder account. This includes log data that automatically records information about your visit, such as your browser type, operating system, the URL of the page that referred you, the different actions you performed, and the IP address you used to access pages on the Site. We use this type of information to provide you with an experience that’s relevant to your location based on the IP address, to prevent Site misuse, and to ensure the Site is working properly. We also collect data from cookies.
SYNC YOUR BRACELET
When you sync your bracelet through an App or the Software, data is recorded on and transferred to our servers. This data is stored and used to provide the AllerGuarder Service and is associated with your account. Each time a sync occurs, we log data about the transmission.
CONTACT US
Whenever you contact AllerGuarder for help, we collect your name and email address along with additional information you provide in your request. You can also contact AllerGuarder on public forums such as Twitter or Facebook; however, we cannot maintain the privacy of your communication to us if you contact us through these channels.
ADD FRIENDS
To help with the performance of the AllerGuarder services, AllerGuarder makes it simple for you invite family & friends (together “Trusted Friends”) to download the APP through your contact list. Once you download the App, other users of the App will know that you have downloaded the App and can designate you as a “Trusted Friend” without your consent. .
We require users to give us contact and other information (such as name and email address). We use this information to send the user and others information about the user and our company.
The AllerGuarder website may contain links to other sites. AllerGuarder is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.
We collect user’s, customer’s and visitor’s contact and other information (like their email address). This information is used to send orders, information about our users, visitors, and company, and promotional material from us and some of our partners to our users, visitors and customers.
